I want to thank sfgov tv for broadcasting the meeting.
Today's meeting has a hard stop
of 10:00 A.M. Due to scheduling issues. We ask all comments from
committee members remain brief, including vice chairs and we'll
limit public comment to one minute.
Are there any announcements?

We are not yet joined by supervisor ronen.
The board of supervisors committee room are closed but members will be participating remotely to the extent they are physically present in the chamber.
This is taken pursuant to the various local and state orders in effect at this time. Committee members will attend
through video conference and participate to the same extent as if they are physically present. Public comment is available on
each item on the agenda. The public comment call in number is being streamed across the screen at this time.
Each speaker is allowed one minute to speak in preparation for the meeting. Comments or opportunities to
speak during the public comment
meeting are available by calling

Your line will be muted but when

rent resolution and relief fund and housing stability fund.

provide relief for small businesses, including those
property crime, arts, cultural
centers, cultural equity and
youth learning initiative, san
francisco city school district, overdose prevention and support
for family relief struggling as
a result of covid-19 and placing
$6,520,705 in general reserve.

I wanted to say thank you to the
budget committee, especially to
your staff, abigail has done a wonderful job working with everyone and to the mayor's office working with you as the chair to come to an agreement on
what to do with the resources we have available. Everybody has been working hard. We have a lot of work to do to
get the resources out to our
community, but I appreciate
everyone working in a unified manner.

We do not have a revised report
given the timing of the legislation. But having reviewed it, we
consider approval to be a policy
matter for the board of supervisors.

There are two small amendments for consideration that my office
has previously circulated to
everyone on page 6 line 9 for
the cultural district's transfer
should read not arts commission. For the family relief fund
transfer owd instead of osb.
And then Ms. Sandler is here for follow up. Are there further questions or

I'm going to say a lot more and thank you's at the board meeting
today but I wanted to thank all
of you colleagues on our committee for close partnership and working together on this. And mayor's office as well.
I do think this is a proposal
that -- extended plan that
meets the moment and that
invests in our most vulnerable residents and our small
businesses and help with our recovery.
And really prioritizes different
needs that really can't wait any longer. So I do think not only are we
spending on the right things, we
did it in a way that was collaborative and all of you
participated and contributed and I want to thank everyone for
their leadership.
With that, I want to make a motion to recommend the item to
the full board with a positive
recommendation as amended as a report today at the board of
supervisors meeting.
